My name is Rogelio Ronco 24,been on dialysis since 2008,frankly the staff makes it better and less depressing. Thanks to dialysis i became ambidextrous as i'm a right handed artist, because i have the fistula in the right wrist and had to learn to draw with the left hand. It's a miracle of God He saved my life.after 8 years i broke my arm skateboarding and went to the E.R. where they foud out my kidneys were not of normal size.I knew it was coming as i had night sweats, the amonia taste, yellow skin, constantly threw up after eating the wrong kind of food.if it wasnt for my broken arm i could have been a goner.God has given me a lot of strenght if it was not for him i would be depressed or thinking about suicide.i thank God,my family who's been supportive and my art. It's ironic that the hand i use to create art with get's punctured with two thick needles like causing pain to a musicians ears.Irony of life but it made my art stronger,i started drawing out of instinct at the age of 5 and now im meeting some people in the art business now i'm gonna show my paintings in two art shows this month as well as a tanning spa lol .Every true artist suffers so i guess i'm one of them.I believe in giving to others therefore by the will of God i donated 3 paintings and all the money goes to help the people in Haiti.it suck sometimes being in the chair looking at the other people suffer more,i have been trying to get money for the transplant my insurance does not cover it because of my immigrant status but i have a couple of people that are willing to donate so i just have to keep on knocking on every door its a dilema.thats my story i wish everyone good luck and God bless everyone.

Hi Rogelio, I am glad to see you got your intro posted, sorry it was so hard to do!
My daughter is also 24 and was on dialysis for 3 years and had a transplant for 3 years (it's rejecting now, we don't know the outcome yet.)
I look forward to seeing more of your artwork. Welcome!

Welcome to ihd.  Your art looks amazing.  Keep up the good work.  Where did you immigrate from?

Welcome to the site Rogelio as Hanify says your paintings look amazing, are they all as colorful? Good luck with your art shows.
